divert.

A comic created in Polly Guo’s Fall 2024 comics intensive, “divert.” is an exploration of purely visual storytelling as a means to return to comic-making after a year hiatus. It tells the story of a nameless diver who, in her curious bubble-shaped submarine, is on a voyage to the bottom of the seafloor. Unfortunately, her craft is popped by a curious beast midway through its descent, leaving her without equipment and support as she tumbles through an alien world.
